Randomoneous

I was recently told that randomoneous is not a "real" word. How can it be? I use it all the time. Well, regardless of if it is a word or not, that is the subject of this post. Dig it!

A few weeks back, MJ finished up basketball. Now, this was different from soccer because it was more learning how to play basketball and doing team scrimmages vs actual games. They made it real cool and he enjoyed playing. T-ball starts in May.

Right now, both boys are taking swimming lessons. Now last year we tried having MJ take lessons. To say he was not into it is a very mild truth. He kicked and screamed...so, I decided that we would try this year. MJ said he would only take them if CR took them with him in the same group. CR was cool with that (and has been potty trained since before he was 2), so that is what we did. This is the first basic class for 3 - 5 year olds, but both are doing well. They are learning to float, kick, some strokes, blow bubbles, jump off the side of the pool (CR is not into that), etc. It is going well. Check out the first picture above. You can see CR sitting on the side of the pool carefully watching his brother float and then kick. Next, it was his turn in the second picture. He was stiff as a board, but tried it! The last picture is of my Baywatch boys!

Whats better than Rock n Roll??? Rock n Roll with flashlights. Yep, it is true.

Valentines Day!

Happy Belated Valentines Day! The boys learned in Sunday School all about Saint Valentine and the meaning of Valentines. Chad and I have told them that it is a day to celebrate love. What says love more than......a Monster Truck Jam! I just caught myself almost uploading a bunch of monster truck pictures....how about this, if anyone wants to see more monster trucks, you just let me know. It was loud and smelled like a combination of exhaust and fuel. MJ thought the tricks were Awesome. CR laughed a little at first, but then really just wanted a nap. After the Monster Jam we went to Rainforest Cafe for dinner.
Can you tell which one is the gorilla and which one is MJ?

The boys started the Valentines weekend with school parties on Friday. The parents are invited and they were very fun. I really like there school. They both got tons of valentines (and candy...which of course makes MJ happy).

We got the boys hockey sticks, pucks, and new jammie jams. MJ really like the hockey, and he was doing very good (after they shoveled the driveway).
So...it was a good weekend. Happy Valentines Day to all!
